We are using plasma cutting for a range of materials, including aluminium, stainless steel and metals. The benefit of this cutting method is that it allows us to produce larger quantities at a reduced price. Materials will also have a very high quality. Sometimes, plasma cutting is the best solution in relation to the thickness of the material. Plasma cutting uses the same head as 3D cutting.
We always give our customers professional advice to ensure that they get the best solution. Through a dialog with our customers we try to optimize the results, professionally and financially. At Ålsrode Smede & Maskinfabrik A/S, we have a machine for 3D cutting. We are using the machine to cut the plates and prepare them for welding. The benefits of 3D cutting is that one machine can drill and cut threads. We are also making time savings grinding the plate materials.
Depending on the size of the order, we can complete the job in 1 - 2 weeks. Delivery also depends on whether material has to be ordered from abroad. When the job is done, the customer decides whether to pick it up themselves or have it delivered. We have a large number of regular customers from Scandinavia who have their products and materials produced at our factory in Grenaa but we also take orders from companies throughout Europe.
